Sunglasses that play music like headphones-
Wearables by Bose®
are designed with a super-thin mini speaker that "projects" audio (music, calls, voice assistants) into your ears. Much like Bluetooth earbuds, the wearable device is controlled with a microphone, an embedded multifunctional touch button, and companion iOS and Android apps.
-
Bose AR®
(audio augmented reality) allows the wearer to play music, filter noise cancellation, take calls, and work with voice assistance. A custom nine-axis IMU motion sensor is used to receive contextual information based on GPS and viewpoint.
-
Bose Connect®,
a companion app for iOS and Android is the easiest way to manage your devices and access key features like auto-off timer, volume control, and battery readings.
Integrate With Your Team
Bose's emerging tech department contracted AgilityIO's industrial design and software development team to perform custom firmware development for the Bose Frames.
-
Using our Team Extension model, our core deliverables for this project included the implementation of a messaging framework on the GAT profile of BLE.
-
We also created a complimentary framework that interfaced with the existing BMAP architecture, then deployed a working demo on LightBlue.
